Maggi Apel is employed by the Greater
Wilmington Business Journal and Wilma Magazine, and is currently an account
executive. She joined the Board of
Directors for the Cape Fear Chapter of the American Red Cross in 2009
but comes
from a long legacy of Red Cross volunteers and supporters from her home town in
Ohio. Maggi also serves on the board for
Girls Inc. and is a graduate of Leadership Wilmington class 2010.
Maggi
graduated with a BA in Communication from The Ohio State University. Maggi and her husband Matt have resided in Wilmington for the past 4 years with their
two children Peyton and Bryce.
The Apel family attends Port City
Community Church and is actively involved in the Cape Fear community through their
volunteering in youth programs with their children, The American Red Cross, Girls
Inc and Walk MS. She and her family
enjoy weekends at the beach and spending time with family and friends.
